How we can help you

Our objective is to create employment opportunities for disabled people. We provide a professional recruitment service as well as provide advice, training and long-term support.

Our services are easily accessible, not time limited and are provided free of charge.

We recognise there is no single best way to assist a disabled person secure employment and provide an individual, one-to-one service so all receive the most appropriate support required.

What we do

The Guernsey Employment Trust will provide a range of activities and services that will meet the needs of unemployed disabled people and employers. Services provided will include:

  • Supported Employment Team
    Providing on-going support from referral to securing and maintaining employment
  • Job Club
    Enabling job seekers to identify suitable vacancies and compete for jobs in the local labour market
  • Work Experience Placements
    To enable job seekers to develop their skills, identify job preferences and assess their strengths and weaknesses

The target group of the Guernsey Employment Trust are unemployed disabled people and those with health issues. People with all forms of disability will be accepted including physical disabilities, mental health issues, sensory impairments, people with brain injuries and learning difficulties.
